We, the Swiss-Turkish Business Council (STBC), successfully held our 2025 General Assembly and the 5th Swiss-Turkish Business Forum in Zurich. The event, attended by numerous members and guests from the business community, focused on the forward-looking topic of artificial intelligence and its impact on the business world.
During the General Assembly, two new members were elected to our board. Our current board is now composed as follows:
President: Philippe Graber
Vice President: Ümit Özeflatun
Board Members: Cemil Baysal, Mehmet Yıldırım, and Romeo Maggi
Newly elected: Süheyla Bahçesever and Nazan Dağtaş Bodmer, who will contribute their expertise to strengthen our team.
Following the assembly, the Business Forum featured an inspiring keynote by Christian Bosshard, who delivered a visionary presentation on artificial intelligence. Through compelling examples, he demonstrated how AI is already transforming our daily lives and business processes—offering participants a thought-provoking perspective on the future.
Deputy Consul Gürhan Cihanoğlu from the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Zurich also attended the forum as an official representative.
At the conclusion of the event, we extended our heartfelt thanks to all participants, partners, and to our venue, Dorint Hotel. We also announced that we will continue to strengthen Swiss-Turkish business cooperation in 2025 through further planned events.
