Ümit Özeflatun completed his training at the Vocational Training Centre for Business, Information Technology and Engineering in Sursee, canton Lucerne (Switzerland).
Afterwards, Ümit Özeflatun founded his own company. Through this company, he serves small and large companies in trade with Türkiye.
In 2002, the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Türkiye (SCCT) elected Ümit Özeflatun to the Board. From 2010 to 2012, Ümit Özeflatun presided over the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Türkiye. In 2010, the Swiss Turkish Business Council in Zurich appointed him to the Board.
Ümit Özeflatun has a very large network due to his many years of involvement in chambers of commerce in both countries and his professional activities both in Türkiye and in Switzerland.
Ümit Özeflatun speaks Turkish, German and English.
His hobbies are motor sports, golf, travelling and culinary food.
